SERENITY FOREST CENTER is ready and waiting for lots and lots of business. I am offering my stimulus package as an attempt to help make this dream come true.

Judith Pauly proudly announces her ECONOMY STIMULUS PACKAGE FOR THE SOUL.

For the next few weeks all of my workshops and individual sessions will be by Donation.

PAY WHATEVER YOU CAN, HOWEVER YOU CAN, WHENEVER YOU CAN.

This will enhance my mission: to bring healing and truth to the world through SOUL CONNECTION.

During this time of crisis in our world has allowed FEAR

(False Expectations Appearing Real) to become a driving force in our lives.

When FEAR/LIES make their way into our bodies and minds it causes the SOUL to shudder.

We often become paralyzed, desperate, and hopeless.

My belief is, by connecting with the soul where hope and trust live, we can establish peace which will resonate as positive energy.

Goodness gracious, we all know we need some positive energy around to combat all the stuff in the cosmos.
WE CAN DO IT.
I offer, what I believe is a way to connect with the intrinsic good within all of us. Or in other words as a way to connect once again with your soul's purpose.

MORE NEW BEGINNINGS

School has started. The leaves are falling and all kinds of new events are being scheduled. We can no longer wear white shoes until Memorial Day. Oh Well!!!

The SERENITY FOREST CENTER is excited to announce some of the upcoming events this fall. We are conveniently located at 6417 Forest Rd. Cheverly MD. 20785, tel 240-582-7816.

Beginning on Thursday, September 4, from 7:00 - 8:00 Cherri will lead a gentle stretching yoga followed by a visualization with Judith. This will happen each week. This may be followed by an open circle. It is important to let us know if you are coming as schedules may change. There is a nominal charge for the sessions.

We are excited to announce our First DAY OF SELF CARE on Sunday, September 21st from 1:00 - 5:00. Individual mini sessions of Reflexology, massage, yoga, meditation as well as Empowerment coaching with Cherri and Soul coaching with Judith will be offered. All of this and jigsaw puzzles too for only $60. It is important to let us know if you are coming. See contact information at the end of this entry.

We are planning a ZEN Buddhist workshop with Rev. Meru Szper and Teacher Penney Johns in the fall. They own and operate the Still Point Zen Center in Random Lake WI. Another exciting workshop on the schedule is for mothers and daughters.

I HOPE YOU'LL DANCE created and presented by the mother daughter team of Cherri McGrew and Kimberly Kearney.

This will take place on:

Saturday, October 25, 2008 nine to five.

This dynamic workshop is designed for Girls ages 12-18 and their mothers any age.

Cost: $150 per couple. Important to register early for this popular workshop. For more info contact Cherri.

Ongoing coaching sessions are available with Cherri as are individual Soul Connections with Judith. You may even want to spend the night in our Serenity room with light breakfast for a nominal contribution. SOULAR POWER is by far my, (Judith) favorite workshop I have ever created and presented. It is a two day, non residential workshop for men and women. It is not necessary to be a couple and I have to say, couples have a great time.

This workshop cuts quickly to the chase of what are the LIES the ego continually feeds you to keep you from being all you are meant to be. We employ NLP techniques as well as reviewing all aspects of who you really are. An in depth look at FORGIVENESS can create great peace as well as clarity. Of course there is joy built in as well.

OPEN HOUSE

After many, many, hours of preparation and anticipation, the day arrived. The dozen large purple, helium inflated balloons blew gently along the path leading through an arch of red crepe paper streamers to the WELCOME mat and sign.

The rooms were all labeled and filled with flyers, information about the rooms, the founder and lots of workshops. Our dreams, wishlists and calendar were all posted on the walls of the Community Room/Fellowship hall. There were two large tables filled with yummy food and drink. The forest room was comfy and the Serenity Room was begging for someone to visit. The Healing/treatment room was outfitted with a chair for reflexology and room for a massage chair.

When we walked into the Zen Meditation Room an immediate calm occurs. It is indeed a place of peace.

Thanks to Julie Roehm and Nancy O'Sullivan who led us in a blessing of the Center with song and ritual. It was WAY COOL.

As soon as we get the pictures from my son they will be posted and then there will be the website with EVERYTHING on it.

DOWNWARD FACING DOG

Yikes!!! What a way to wake up. Cherri has an amazing ability and commitment to begin each day with YOGA. Until I moved in with Cherri the closest I came to Yoga was the kind you eat. Usually vanilla, low fat.

However, I am amazed about all those things they say Yoga does ... it is true. Cherri is amazing how she very gently guides these old bones and decrepit muscles in gentle stretches and weird poses. Imagine this 73 year old body in the upside down dog pose with buttocks sticking up in the air as I see the wrinkles and lumps in my knees. YIKES.

I hate to admit it but I sometimes pray she will forget. Surprisingly, I have become aware of how much stress I carry in my body and the amazing monkey chatter in my brain. Yoga has helped to quiet and soothe. I am more focused, sometimes even more productive and am becoming more aware of my body.

I do like the music she plays and the NAMASTE greeting at the end so it is not all torturous. In fact, if truth be known, I have intentions of learning the routine and doing it on my own. And, I really look forward to having Cherri lead a weekly group yoga class in the Center so my butt is not the only one sticking up.

ANOTHER DREAM REALIZED

MEET JUDITH PAULY PROGAM DIRECTOR FOR THE SERENITY FOREST CENTER.

Another red headed grandmother from

who knows where. Judith is described as

wacky by her family, fun by friends,

and even a few call her brilliant with her cutting edge work on shame and the soul. She describes herself as "OLDER THAN DIRT" and proud of it.

Interested in understanding how people work from a very early age, Judith remembers listening to a psychology program on the radio at age 11 when she was home from boarding school visiting her mother in Detroit. Circumstances in her life led to an eclectic growing up experience.

She graduated from Ecole Vincent D'indy in Montreal with a masters in music and credits this education for allowing the creative juices to flow and brought structure to her otherwise crazy life.

Judith's role in the Center will be to create, present, market and schedule events including her own specialties. Most important to her is that there is fun and connection for all those who attend.

Meet Cherri McGrew founder of the SERENITY FOREST CENTER.

A dynamic red headed grandmother from Kansas, with the vision and tenacity to follow a dream.

For many years Cherri has had a very successful corporate business career, presently acting CEO for THE CLINICAL RESEARCH FORUM in Washington DC, and while on the corporate track discovered her passion for Personal Coaching and communication

The vision to make the world a better place by creating a space for personal growth and healing has been Cherri's dream for more than 20 years. She has had extensive training as a life coach and provided empowerment coaching to individuals, couples, groups and corporations over the past 10 years. She is soon to complete her CPCC in the International Coaching Federation.

With all the credentials Cherri holds the one she values most is her passion for healing and making the world a better place with joy. Thus the mission statement for the Center

WE BRING HEART, SOUL, LOVE AND LAUGHTER INTO THE LIVES OF ALL PEOPLE THROUGH TEACHING, COACHING AND ATTENDING.

Cherri is a graduate of the Woman Within Training January 1997, Port Deposit MD and has pursued the facilitation track where she has had an opportunity to exercise her insight and skills. She has guided over 25 empowerment circles in the WW organization with much love and skill.

Among the many offerings Cherri brings to the Center you will find groups and workshops on communication, Personal Life coaching, a workshop on mother-daughter relationships as well as self care opportunities i.e yoga, breathing techniques and meditation. Also in the area of self care there will be offerings of Reike, massage therapy, reflexology and many more pamperings.

A well kept secret is that Cherri has always wanted to appear on the TV show "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE" This comes from a 12 year stint of being in a dance troupe with her beautiful daughter Kimberly. Truth be know ... she wanted to be a Rocket and was too tall.
